eKitabu Partnership Ecosystem

We scale through partnerships – growing your impact with ours.

Publishers

Our relationships with local and international publishers enable us to add curriculum and reading materials in more languages, countries, and topic areas.  Local publishers provide Ministry of Education approved books aligned to local curricula.  International publishers enable us to offer a wide range of topics.  eKitabu distributes content from 47 African publishers and hundreds of International publishers including Pearson, Scholastic, and Wiley.  We have over 500,000 ebook titles.

Network Operators

eKitabu partners with Network Operators to extend our reach to even the remotest schools. For Network Operators, we provide educational content and services to meet growing market demand and deliver social impact.

Device Manufacturers

Market demand for local content from schools has grown with the proliferation of over 200 million computers in Sub-Saharan Africa.  To facilitate distribution of local, MOE-approved content, eKitabu has built relationships with device providers to preload content in devices.  eKitabu software is free, open standards based, and not tied to any proprietary device—it runs on all major platforms including Android, Windows, Mac, and Linux.

School Networks

eKitabu partners with public, private, parochial and donor-funded school networks to provide content, devices and expertise to go digital.
