eKitabu Tunaenda Digital Newsletter February 2021
Dear Friends,
We’ve begun 2021. The new school term is the time we present the scholarships, certificates, and prizes to Digital Essay Competition winners and finalists for their essays submitted in Kiswahili, English, French, Art, German, Kenyan Sign Language (KSL), and braille. DEC 2020 winners included Munira Abdullahi of Wamba Junior in Samburu, Sherlin Anyango of Nairobi East Park Academy in Nairobi, Lilian Achieng of St. Oda School For The Visually Impaired in Siaya, Ann Gakii of Munithu Secondary School in Meru, Ezekiel Boaz of Ebukuya School for the Hearing Impaired in Vihiga, and many more, the full list of DEC 2020 winners is here.
We are also growing the network of all students who participated in DEC since its beginning in 2013—to help them publish their work or help in other ways we can find out by staying in touch. If you or someone you know has ever participated in DEC and would like to be part of the DEC alumni network, please let us know at support@ekitabu.com.
Teachers, students, parents, friends and DEC alumni: please keep an eye on essay.ekitabu.com for DEC 2021 competition details.
Warmest regards,
Will
