Rev. Muhoro Secondary School for the Deaf
The school is a public national, special, mixed institution offering 8-4-4 system of education. The population has grown from one deaf boy in 1988 to the current 285 boys and girls in an inclusive setting. The school is founded on Christian morals under the sponsorship of the P.C.E.A. church. It was started by the first African P.C.E.A Moderator, The Very Rev. Charles Muhoro wa Kareri. The school admits students from all over Kenya and a few from Uganda, Tanzania, Somalia, Sudan, Ethiopia, and Rwanda.
