The 2nd Digital Inclusion Awards was held on Friday 14th September 2018 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Nairobi Kenya. The event was graced by Jerome Ochieng, the Principal Secretary of ICT and Innovation, Ministry of ICT. Digital Inclusion Awards recognize and celebrate key players in various sectors that have adopted technology in their daily business to offer their products or services in a more efficient and convenient manner.eKitabu was honoured to be the TOP WINNERS in the Best e-learning Platform in 2018 Digital Inclusion Awards. We were described as one of the most vibrant online digital content platforms which has revolutionised on Accessible Digital Content for Quality Education[gallery size="large" ids="|"]At eKitabu, educational impact of books is our foundation and on that proven foundation we innovate, design with users and partners from the public and private sector to increase accessibility and lower the cost of content for quality education and sustainably at a large scale. Through our open architecture, global collection of ebooks and ecosystem partners, we dramatically lower the cost of delivering accessible content for quality education in local languages.
